Okta Engineer / Business Analyst Alameda, CA (Onsite is mandatory) Long Term Rolling Contract
Job Duties:
Implementation of Okta integrations (SAML, OIDC, etc)
Okta Administration and Configuration
Troubleshooting and providing ongoing support and troubleshooting for Okta IAM solutions with application owners and end users.
Monitor system health, resolve issues, and optimize Okta performance and reliability.
Acts as a liaison between the business stakeholders and technical teams, translating the business needs into requirements
Gather, analyze and document requirements
Participate in the evaluation of new IAM technologies to enhance the Okta ecosystem and improve security posture.
Developing and maintaining documentation, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
Perform feasibility analyses and provide recommendations for future system enhancements.
Required Qualifications:
Okta Certification: Professional or a minimum of five year's experience in Okta Integrations
Minimum Experience:
Three (3) years relevant experience of Okta Integrations: Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and privileged access management.
Two (2) years of experience in developing Okta Workflows
Two (2) years of experience in IGA and a minimum of Two (2) years of experience in Okta IGA
Experience with other IAM solutions beyond Okta
Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices (AWS, Azure, etc.)
Deep understanding of identity federation protocols such as SAML, OAuth, SCIM and OpenID Connect.
Hands-on experience with Okta API integrations and System Administration
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience in documenting and refining business processes, identifying gaps and recommending improvements
The salary range provided for this contract role represents our good faith estimate for this position. Within the range, individual offers will vary based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, location and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process (W2 or C2C).
