As a Senior Electrical Manufacturing Engineer, you will develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes to improve productivity, ensure workplace safety, and enable high-quality output in an industrial production environment. This is a broad and high-impact role within a growing company, providing the opportunity to optimize supplier engagement and technical oversight, lead process improvements, and contribute to the expansion of an innovative and evolving product portfolio, with an emphasis on electrical and PCBA-based systems. This is an onsite role.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, documentation, and optimization of manufacturing processes for PCBAs, electrical assemblies, and electromechanical systems.
• Champion safety and process efficiency through optimized line layout, tooling, and documentation.
• Drive improvements in test coverage through effective fixture design and test method development.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives with Design Engineering, Test Engineering, Quality, and Operations to resolve non-conformances and support continuous improvement.
• Engage and manage technical performance of preferred supply partners to ensure incoming quality, yield, and capacity for critical electrical components, PCBAs, and sub-systems.
• Drive and support cost control, supplier selection, and product improvement initiatives across all phases of the product release lifecycle.
• Collaborate with NPI teams to identify design constraints for manufacturability and testability; deliver actionable DFM and DFT recommendations.
• Develop NPI Manufacturing Plans to establish production readiness criteria, meet quality gate requirements, and accelerate product ramp schedules.
• Demonstrate proficiency with product maturity tools, including DFMEA, PFMEA, P-Diagrams, and Control Plans.
• Apply structured root cause investigation methodologies (e.g., 5-Why, Fishbone, Fault Tree) to resolve yield, quality, and electrical test-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in high-volume, low-mix PCBA or electrical system manufacturing; experience in automotive, networking, or medical electronics preferred
• Proficient in PCB design and analysis tools such as Altium, OrCAD, and Valor; experience reviewing Gerber files for manufacturability and test coverage.
• Experience with environmental protection strategies including conformal coating material selection, preparation, application, and best practice handling and rework procedures
• Strong foundation in statistical tools and methodologies, including process capability analysis, design of experiments (DOE), statistical process control (SPC), and test coverage analysis
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex electrical manufacturing challenges and communicate effectively across engineering and operations teams
• Experience collaborating with Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) partners; exposure to industrial test automation and electrical safety standards is a plus

Pay Range: $140,000 - $160,000

*Base salary only. Salary is dependent on multiple factors including, but not limited to, experience and location.
