As a Mechanical Engineer at Poseidon Aerospace, you will be responsible for designing, prototyping, and validating mechanical subcomponents for our aircraft on tight timelines. Your primary focus will be delivering functional hardware that balances practicality, efficiency, and reliability. Responsibilities

• Design and deliver critical flight-ready components for aircraft systems.

• Take mechanical systems and subcomponents from initial concept through prototype development to flight validation.

• Perform analysis and testing to ensure reliability under the demanding conditions of flight.

• Work collaboratively to integrate mechanical systems with other subsystems, maintaining strong communication with cross-functional teams.

• Optimize designs for manufacturability and maintainability, considering practical constraints and real-world application.

Ideal Qualifications

• Deep understanding of aircraft structural design and practical applications in aerospace contexts.

• Proven experience taking mechanical components from concept to real-world deployment, especially in aviation or similar environments.

• Extensive experience with CAD software for designing complex, interdependent mechanical systems

• Hands-on experience with machining and fabrication processes, including an intuitive understanding of achievable tolerances.

• Ability to work effectively within a team to collaboratively develop robust, efficient, and integrated solutions.
