Job Duties

• Design, develop, and validate power systems for spacecraft, including solar arrays, battery packs, and power distribution units.
• Create and test circuit designs to meet strict requirements for reliability, efficiency, and robustness in space environments.
• Lead schematic capture, PCB layout, and hardware fabrication using tools such as Altium or KiCAD.
• Support system-level integration and troubleshooting during spacecraft assembly, integration, and testing (AIT).
• Perform modeling, simulation, and analysis of power systems using SPICE, MATLAB, or similar tools.
• Contribute to spacecraft power budgets, MPPT algorithm development, and distribution architecture design.
• Conduct environmental testing and qualification processes for space-grade hardware.
• Collaborate across mechanical, systems, and software teams to ensure seamless integration of power subsystems.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in power system design for aerospace, high-voltage electronics, or related industries.
• Proven expertise in solar, battery, and power distribution design.
• Hands-on experience with circuit design, simulation, and prototyping.
• Proficiency in schematic capture, PCB layout, and fabrication workflows.
• Strong understanding of spacecraft power systems and modeling practices.
• Familiarity with environmental qualification and testing for aerospace hardware.
• Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, e-loads, power supplies, etc.).
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving environment with strong problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of radiation effects, thermal cycling, and reliability engineering.
• Experience writing test scripts and analysis in Python or similar languages.
• Exposure to advanced spacecraft power management systems.
