Senior Treasury Analyst
Zendesk is seeking a strategically minded and data-driven Senior Treasury Analyst to join our dynamic global treasury team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to directly influence cash flow optimization, liquidity planning, and capital markets strategy. You'll use AI-powered tools and advanced data analytics to elevate forecasting, financial modeling, and risk management. In close partnership with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you'll deliver insights that shape strategic decisions and drive growth in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and maintain models for capital allocation, interest expense, and income forecasts.
- Conduct market transaction analysis and peer benchmarking to evaluate deal terms and cost of capital.
- Provide data-backed recommendations to optimize funding strategy and capital structure.
- Execute high-priority capital markets transactions (e.g. debt financing, interest rate derivatives and FX hedging).
- Forecast cash flow, leveraging historical and real-time data to improve accuracy.
- Support interest rate hedging and foreign exchange risk management to mitigate financial risks.
- Monitor macroeconomic and market conditions to assess their impact on financial performance, liquidity and market positioning.
- Champion the use of automation and machine learning to streamline treasury workflows (e.g., forecasting models, reconciliations, scenario planning).
- Utilize data analytics and AI tools to improve modeling, reporting and decision support capabilities.
- Prepare executive- and board-level presentations with a clear financial narrative.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards that translate complex financial data into actionable guidance.
- Collaborate with the Finance leadership team to deliver compelling storytelling in support of internal and external communications.
What you bring to the role - Strong finance and/or data analytics background with solid understanding of capital markets, treasury functions, and financial modeling.
- Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Python and other tools (e.g., SQL, VBA, R) for modeling and automation.
- Familiarity with treasury platforms and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), with an eye toward impactful data visualization.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex financial data for executive audiences.
- A goal-oriented, results-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Passion for learning and innovation, especially leveraging AI to improve financial operations.
- Detail-oriented with a collaborative, team-first approach.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience crafting executive-level materials and telling data-driven stories through dashboards or board presentations.
- Prior experience in corporate treasury or capital markets is a plus.
- Advanced programming skills and experience with financial treasury systems.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CTP, or equivalent are a plus.

The US annualized base salary range for this position is $86,000.00-$128,000.00. This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives. While this range reflects the minimum and maximum value for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, the offer for the successful candidate for this position will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other factors such as work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only (or OTE for commissions based roles), and do not include bonus, benefits, or related incentives.
