Responsibilities:

  • Build a foundational understanding of industry and concepts related to planning, investments, financial markets, and client service
  • Ability to work with our asset custodians and accurately handle all related paperwork
  • Ability to complete straightforward financial planning analysis and projects independently
  • Ability to analyze client information for financial plan development
  • Learn our financial software programs and be able to quickly and accurately update and revise financial plans and reports based on feedback from advisors
  • Supports ongoing portfolio monitoring and account maintenance and proactively identifies action items
  • Understands firm's wealth management philosophy and process
  • Prepares required materials for client meetings
  • Ability to support advisors by completing tasks and processes effectively and efficiently
  • Interfaces and handles work of both advisory and client service teams to be sure all deliverables are met for clients
  • Effectively utilizes our technology stack (ex: Salesforce) to ensure client information is up-to-date and coordinated among client service team
  • Understands and effectively utilizes internal and external resources
  • Provides meaningful support in development of analysis for new client proposals
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelors' degree in related field and working towards obtaining CFP credential
  • Typically, 2-3 years' experience
  • Basic level knowledge of financial planning, investment, and client relationship skills
  • Technology: Salesforce, Portfolio Accounting Software, DocuSign, Microsoft Suite, Planning Software
  • Experience with custodian interaction
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and consistency
  • High standards of professionalism and confidentiality

Pay Information

This position is exempt and is paid according to the laws of the State of California The pay range for this position is $65,800- $106,000 USD per year. We are required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Corient seeks to make reasonable accommodations that enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties when possible.

This position may require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.
