Our client, a leading player in the gaming industry, is seeking a Gameplay Software Engineer II to join their team. As a Gameplay Software Engineer II, you will be part of the development team supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Gameplay Software Engineer II
Location: Burlingame, CA
Pay Range: 50-70/hr
What's the Job?
- Create sample TypeScript code to demonstrate NPC behaviors in Horizon Worlds.
- Develop both simple and complex examples that can be used for creator samples and AI training.
- Design NPC tools to showcase NPC behaviors effectively.
- Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including requirements definition and product release.
- Write clean, encapsulated, testable, and well-documented code.
- BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- 3-5 years of game development experience.
- Proficiency in C# and TypeScript.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt plans in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with version control and build systems.
