Job Title: Senior Manager, Professional Services Strategic Sourcing

Location: Oakland, CA (Hybrid - 3 days/week onsite)

Duration: Direct Hire

Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Professional Services Strategic Sourcing provides strategic sourcing direction and leadership for the Professional Services category. This position develops strategies and plans to reduce purchase costs and drive the greatest total cost of ownership while ensuring service excellence. This position oversees the governance of the contract approval process from contract creation through contract award for a designated portfolio.

Minimum Background Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required (one year of experience for every one year of college)
• 8 years of total sourcing or related industry experience; some positions may require technical/category experience
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills required
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams is required
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills are required
• Ability to identify and resolve problems and implementation barriers required

Desired

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree
• 10+ years of total sourcing or related industry experience; some positions may require technical/category experience
• Demonstrated category management and procurement transformation experience
• Expertise in professional services categories, including key suppliers, contractual models, industry trends and strategies to drive cost savings and operational efficiencies
• Six Sigma, CPSM or other related certification
• SAP/SRM proficiency desired.
