We are conducting a confidential search for a leading international education group.The organization is launching a new venture investment division in the U.S. focused on artificial intelligence, education technology, and innovative real estate projects. We are seeking a senior investment professional to lead U.S. strategic expansion efforts. In this high-impact role, the right candidate will spearhead investments in cutting-edge AI+EdTech startups and forge partnerships to establish new educational ventures (including a potential Silicon Valley campus project). This is a unique opportunity to build a portfolio and team from the ground up with strong corporate backing and a global vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Investment Sourcing & Evaluation: Identify and assess investment opportunities in the U.S. across artificial intelligence, education technology, and related cross-sector areas.

Strategic Expansion: Plan and drive the localization of Education+AI initiatives in the U.S. (with a focus on Silicon Valley), including building university partnerships, scouting campus sites, and forming local teams.

Fundraising Support: Assist in the fundraising of a U.S. dollar-denominated fund, including connecting with local LPs and supporting fund structure design.

Partnership Development: Establish and maintain a strong network with universities, education providers, real estate partners, and tech incubators.

University Initiative: Source sites, resources, partners, and funding for the Group's International University Project (UIU) in Silicon Valley.

Market Intelligence & Advisory: Provide senior management with strategic analysis on market trends, project evaluation, and post-investment management.

Qualifications:

VC/PE Expertise: 8+ years in venture capital, private equity, or tech investment, with a track record in AI, EdTech, or PropTech deals.

Strategic Operator: Experience leading projects or expansions in the U.S. startup or education ecosystem; entrepreneurial mindset with strong execution skills.

Fundraising Savvy: Exposure to fund formation or LP networking is a plus (you have connections in the investor community).

Education & Credentials: Bachelor's degree or higher (MBA/PhD preferred) in Business, Technology or related field.

Cultural Fluency: Excellent communication skills in English; Mandarin bilingual ability is a plus. Able to collaborate across cultures.

Leadership: Self-driven leader with vision, able to work independently to set up new operations.

Base Salary: $180,000 – $300,000 (commensurate with experience)

Incentives: Annual performance bonus, deal-related incentives, and potential participation in fund carry
