Job Details

Perform combo welding on FCAW, aluminum, and structural components. Weld various joint types (fillet, groove, lap) in all positions and multiple passes. Conduct cutting and gouging with carbon electrodes. Use pneumatic and electric tools to grind, clean, and prepare weld joints. Work in shop, production table, and shipboard environments. Requirements:Minimum 5 years of Shipyard Welding experience; If you do not have recent Marine experience of at least 5 years, you will NOT be considered for this role! OSHA 10 Maritime and Fire Watch Certification. Must have a vision test and respirator fit test completed prior to start. Must be able to pass background check and drug screening. Proficient in Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) - this is a minimum requirement. Experience with aluminum and marine-grade 5 XXX is a plus.
