LHH is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager for a full time position with a manufacturing client in the Bay Area of California. This is an opportunity to join an industry leader who is currently growing and offering opportunity and ability to be part of their strategic growth. This person would be a key player in rolling out strategic operations to streamline production and manufacturing processes across their national manufacturing sites.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops effective manufacturing processes by evaluating product requirements and designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment to ensure desired results
• Apply industry knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, and tooling, and materials and collaborate with production associates
• Identify and resolve process operating problems, investigate equipment failures, draft follow-up action reports, and share technical assistance with workers on the floor
• Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues during manufacturing process
• Coordinate with operations and management personnel to develop a shared vision for the completion of daily tasks and then report on those activities
• Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering to create process improvements
• Monitor and improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow while optimizing space and equipment layout

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or a similar realm is required
• Minimum of 10 years of Manufacturing Engineering and the management of teams within a manufacturing setting
• Must have experience working on design and production processes to streamline operations across MULTIPLE national locations
• Must possess strong analytical, trouble-shooting, and problem-solving skills
• Must be a highly motivated, self-starter who is able to succeed with little supervision
