Consider Gladstone and make a difference in human health.About the role:The Hoffmann Lab at the Gladstone Institute of Virology is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Postdoctoral Scholar. The focus of research in the Hoffmann Lab is the development of mRNA- and nanoparticle-based vaccine technologies against a wide range of infectious diseases (see Hoffmann et al., Cell, 2023; ) and cancer, as well as gaining a deeper understanding of the immunological mechanisms that shape vaccine-induced immune responses. Additional research directions focus on the development of nanoparticle-based drug delivery systems for mRNA- and small molecule-based therapeutics, and global interactome screening platforms to map interactions between cell surface proteins and identify new drug targets. The successful candidate will work on research projects in these areas depending on their interests and background, and become a member of our vibrant and collaborative research team.What you will do:
