Status: Full-time Benefitted position

Shift: Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm (must be available to support all shifts)

Pay: Salary of $69,000 to $88,000 depending on experience

GENERAL STATEMENT OF POSITION

Under general supervision of Assisted Living Director, the Manager of Assisted Living directly manages the Assisted Living care & services team of about 20 Resident Assistants and serves as a member of the community's leadership team. Piedmont Gardens is located in Oakland off of Piedmont Avenue.

- Carries out supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning / scheduling, coaching, and directing work; appraising performance in accordance with policies and applicable laws.

- Assists with marketing of the accommodations and services to prospective residents and families and developing and implementing activities and support programs.

- Develop, monitor, and adjust work schedules to ensure adequate staffing

- Conduct routine rounds of the community, participate in initial and ongoing resident assessments to help identify needs and changes in condition, scheduling care conferences, payroll, assist in the development of the Resident Services Plan, participate in regular resident and family meetings, and help conduct new hire training, registry training and orientation, monthly inservice trainings, all staff meetings, infection control in-services.

To be successful in the role, you would have:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in a health care, social science, or business discipline

Experience/Training

  • Minimum 3 years of related experience including supervisory experience working in health care, senior living, or strong service environment; or any equivalent combination of education and training which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
  • must have excellent computer skills and familiar with EHR (Electronic Health Records)

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Current CPR certification
