AGENCY OVERVIEW: Jewish Family and Children's Services (JFCS) has served the San Francisco Bay Area for 175 years. We offer services including adoption, mental health, senior care, disability services, financial assistance, Holocaust education, and youth development. Our mission is rooted in Jewish values, serving people of all faiths and backgrounds.
The Financial Aid Center provides loans, grants, and scholarships for emergency assistance, educational opportunities, business development, and Jewish summer camps/programs for Bay Area residents. We aim to support individuals in developing, restoring, and maintaining their self-reliance.
POSITION SUMMARY: Under supervision of the Associate Executive Director, the Director manages daily operations of the Financial Aid Center, provides direct client services, and collaborates with Development and volunteer oversight committees to facilitate loan and grant approvals.
