What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Provide strategic legal guidance on FDA, EU MDR, and global health compliance for wearable health technology
• Oversee compliance with labeling and marketing regulations, ensuring product claims adhere to legal standards
• Manage Oura's privacy team to ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and other data protection laws
• Develop and implement the company's ethics and compliance program, including anti-bribery initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess regulatory risks and compliance strategies

What is Required (Qualifications):

• 10+ years of legal experience in corporate healthcare regulatory compliance, privacy compliance, and ethics programs
• Deep expertise in FDA regulations and understanding of global health product labeling laws
• Proven experience in developing privacy compliance programs within regulated environments
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA, GDPR, and other global data protection laws applicable to health data
• JD degree with bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience in digital health, diagnostics, wearables, or consumer health technology
• Familiarity with FTC advertising regulations and corporate ethics compliance programs
