POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Project Manager III position will be responsible for management of multi-year projects for HGL's EPA client. Additionally, the PM will have opportunities to manage other projects for HGL across its diverse program and project portfolio.
This full-time role will work hybrid in our Pleasanton, CA office.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
The ideal candidate will need the following as a foundation for success in this role :
Minimum 8 years of experience executing and managing investigation and remediation projects under CERCLA and RCRA, including oversight of project teams, management of budget, schedule, safety, quality, technical performance, and customer satisfaction. An advanced degree may decrease the years of experience required.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related academic field.
Excellent time management and organization skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and keep organized to ensure timely and accurate work.
Ability to build consensus among leadership, internal, and external stakeholders through effective interpersonal communication and relationship building skills.
WHAT YOU NEED TO STAND OUT – Preferred, not required
PE, PG, and / or PMP certifications.
Work experience in the western United States, specifically the EPA Region 9 footprint (Arizona, California, and Nevada).
Master's degree or PhD in a related field.
Experience with high resolution site characterization (HRSC).
Solid understanding of screening values and risk assessment process.
Experience with remedial technologies and approaches.

The salary range for this position ranges from $131,629 - $204,025. This position's final salary can be impacted by various factors including, but not limited to, contractual requirements, geographic location, job-related education, training, experience, and skills. If your desired salary falls outside of this range, we hope you'll still apply as there may be other positions that better align.
