This is a fully remote position; however, the selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to the San Francisco Bay Area to support regional needs. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners, manage existing business, and build new business for the company. They should think critically, have strong communication skills, and demonstrate value through all customer and partner interactions.

Responsibilities include :

  1. Achieving sales goals including MAF$ growth, margin percentage growth, and product line expansion (Self Adhesive, Printable Films & Digital Paper).
  2. Organizing the client base into geographic segments for strategic territory management, including CRM updates.
  3. Managing sales pipeline with product forecasts to support operations and SLA execution.
  4. Maximizing face-to-face and phone sales to educate, validate, justify, and close sales with key decision-makers.
  5. Participating in GPA's sales training initiatives.
  6. Managing and documenting sales progress for HP Indigo installations in collaboration with HP support professionals.
  7. Responding promptly to product claims and returns to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce policy credits.
  8. Responding urgently to emails and voicemails, leveraging customer support as needed.
  9. Adhering to GPA's Employee Handbook standards in all interactions.
  10. Managing VMI programs, including monthly inventory counts and management within GPA guidelines.
  11. Promoting and leveraging e-commerce platforms to enhance customer experience.
  12. Executing Customer Supply agreements.
  13. Collaborating with Customer Service to ensure timely and effective communication.
  14. Updating client records to ensure accurate communication and contact information.
  15. Following processes for order entry, claims, R&O, and documentation to maximize efficiency.
  16. Reviewing and acting on marketing initiatives, credit updates, and sales reports regularly.
  17. Traveling within outlined parameters annually.
  18. Staying current with vendor and product offerings in the GPA Catalog.

Qualifications include :

  1. At least 5 years of sales experience.
  2. Print industry experience is a plus but not required.
  3. College degree preferred; high school diploma required.
  4. Strong organizational skills.
  5. Ability to work effectively from a home office and communicate remotely.
  6. Ability to participate in trade shows and travel as needed.
  7. Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  8. Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  9. Availability to work during non-business hours as necessary.
  10. Assist in training and onboarding new employees as needed.
