Position is for a full-time Business Systems Analyst to work at EAH Corporate in San Rafael, CA. Candidates will have Bachelor's degree or formal training/certification in computer-related fields such as software development, programming, database design/management or related field. 1+ years of field work or property management experience related to affordable housing, housing development or project management. 1+ years training support for and roll out of property management business systems. Salary range: $70,000.00 - $104,000.00 per year; hiring range for new employees is generally $70,000.00 -$87,000.00 per year, DOE. Please note an offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate and the current salary level of individuals working at EAH in a similar role.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Assists with business systems projects and serves as a help desk for REM, RED, Accounting software issues for each of the EAH properties. Utilizes knowledge of local, state and federal laws and regulations relevant to affordable multi-family housing development, Housing Tax Credits and HUD programs to evaluate projects and provide assistance. Utilizes knowledge of Yardi to assist property managers in utilizing the system correctly and meeting their training needs and accounting requirements. Understands and supports EAH's mission and core values.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists with identifying business requirements and needs for Real Estate Management, Real Estate Development and Accounting department's business systems projects, which includes training, documentation and on-going support throughout the project life cycle.
  • Collaborates with IT Department and internal technology partners, vendors and business regarding all aspects of end-to-end systems solution delivery, including design, requirement definition, and analysis. Supports users in evaluating new technologies and tools.
  • Helps define and implement processes for managing system rollouts.
  • Communicates and tracks user requirements throughout the project life cycle in response to changing user needs or understanding of the application.
  • Assists with maintaining and developing software manuals and training materials.
  • Provides Yardi technical assistance to site staff through telephone or occasional onsite visits.
  • Configures and manages Yardi user security, including creating and maintaining user roles, security permissions and access settings.
  • Modifies and customizes reports using SQL as requested from EAH departments.
  • Troubleshoots system and data problems and works with Yardi Client Central on solutions when issues cannot be resolved in house.
  • Assists VP of Business Systems, as required.
  • Keeps abreast of changes to housing regulations and software updates.
  • Actively participates in EAH's Injury and Illness Prevention Plan
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or formal training/certification in computer-related field such as software development, programming, database design and management, or related field, required. 1-3 years of related work or field work or property management experience in matters related to affordable housing, housing development or project management. 1-3 years training and support for and roll out of property management business systems.
