Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 3 years of experience in an automation product development environment, knowledge of Semiconductors equipment Strong 3 D CAD modeling (Pro. E preferred) and FEA/ CFD of mechanical designs Strong knowledge of fundamentals of components as robotic mechanisms, including motors, bearings, sensors, actuators Strong knowledge of automation controls, robotics, semiconductor system integration Knowledge of materials and mechanical fabrication process, good design practices for the material of choice Responsibility: Responsible for the design/development, modification, and evaluation of primarily mechanical systems, equipment, and packages for the semiconductor industry. Produce and release 3 D models, drawings, and BOMs per the Brooks process. Work cooperatively with electrical and SW engineering to ensure new product designs will function per the market and customer requirements.
