Specific Responsibilities:Serve as immunology scientific expert in to drive a deep understanding of drug mechanism of action and modulation of immunological pathways of autoimmune disease. Apply knowledge of pathway biology to understand the fundamental basis of dysregulated innate and adaptive immunity in normal and disease states for affected tissues. Lead and develop colleagues using effective coaching and mentorship to maximize performance, engagement, and scientific growth. Design and supervise implementation of studies to build confidence-in-rationale in additional indications for clinical stage assets. Identify novel targets and pathways to treat autoimmune and inflammatory diseases; connecting cutting-edge science with unmet medical need. Work with internal program leads to identify potential indications for preclinical stage assets based on knowledge of disease pathways.
