Collaborate closely with internal teams, business stakeholders, external vendors, and implementation partners to ensure cohesive and effective execution
Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and risk registers to support disciplined execution.
Facilitate executive-level reporting, communication, enabling timely decision-making, and alignment with leadership priorities.

Ensure timely, on-scope, and on-budget delivery of projects and operational initiatives, consistently aligned with business objectives.
Education
Bachelor's degree in relevant field (IT, IS, Computer Science, Security, or related field)
Experience Required Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of experience in project management

Advanced knowledge of PM methodologies (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum)
Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working with a high degree of ambiguity
Highly advanced skills associated with end-to-end PMLC for programs/projects of large -scale scope
Demonstrated project leadership, reporting and management skills
Demonstrated effective communication (written & verbal) and effective interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to present/communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization
Able to deliver projects timely within budget and defined scope
Demonstrated complex problem-solving skills with a 'can do' attitude
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in higher education, especially within University of California institutions
Experience managing cybersecurity projects and AI awareness
Familiarity with UC policies, governance, and enterprise systems is a plus
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
Additional Notes This is a contract position expected to last one year with potential for extension. Candidates must be available to work on-site in a hybrid or full-time on-premise capacity, depending on project needs.
