Diamond Technology is a Technical Services company. We have a business client who is a large local public organization with an opening for the following position:

JOB TITLE: Sr. IT Business Analyst (Temp Contract)

NUMBER OF OPENINGS: 2

DESIRED START DATE: Soon

LOCATION: San Francisco: ON-SITE + Local travel required to multiple Bay Area work locations

DURATION: 2 YEARS / 40 hours a week

HOURLY RATE: $85ph to $95ph

SKILLS SUMMARY

10 years of experience working with email domain changes, email migration projects involving inbound & outbound email flow.

Intermediate to advanced experience using Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint).

10 years of experience working with large organizations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Professional Services - As-Needed at the discretion of the IS Project Director / Project Manager. Scope of work may include but is not limited to:

    • Provide analytical support and serve as a subject matter expert for website, email domain migration, and disaster recovery efforts.
    • Lead requirements gathering discussions, analyze, and draft technical requirements.
    • Create reports, maintain system documentation, and support large-scale projects in ITS Portfolio Management.
    • Use Microsoft applications proficiently.
    • Familiar with website redirects, email domain redirects, and email delivery processes.
    • Document requirements for business processes and applications related to ITS projects.
    • Research and analyze software products for email domain migration and business continuity.
    • Train and transition project work to City staff.
  2. Project Management – As-Needed at the discretion of the ITS Program / Project Manager. Scope may include:

    • Planning, scheduling, quality, scope & change management.
    • Document risk management and contingency plans.
    • Draft agenda items and meeting minutes.
    • Manage stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.
    • Monitor and report project status and constraints.
    • Assist with project functions and transition work to City staff.
  3. Disaster Recovery Analysis:

    • Analyze policies, procedures, and recommend improvements.
    • Document risk management and contingency plans.
    • Train and transition project work to City staff.

Project Success Criteria: Completion of assigned tasks, realized benefits/outcomes, and stakeholder satisfaction.
