Description:

A leading Am Law 100 firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join its San Francisco office. This is an opportunity to work within one of the nation's most respected Labor & Employment practices, offering sophisticated work, top-tier clients, and long-term growth potential. This position offers hands-on litigation experience, mentorship from industry leaders, and the chance to contribute to high-impact matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent employers in all facets of employment litigation, including single-plaintiff, class action, and PAGA matters
  • Conduct complex legal research and draft persuasive motions, pleadings, and briefs
  • Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
  • Participate in high-level strategy sessions and provide direct support to clients
  • Collaborate with partners and associates across offices on cross-jurisdictional matters
  • Provide employment law counseling and risk management advice as needed

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in employment litigation, preferably at a large law firm or reputable boutique
  • Strong litigation skills, including motion practice and deposition experience
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • California Bar admission in good standing
  • Strong academic credentials required (law school transcript must be included)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

  • Hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days in the San Francisco office per week
