About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manager, Business Process to manage the process for partnership deals and commercial contracts. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in building, standardizing, and governing the end-to-end processes for our critical partnership contracts, with a sharp focus on data validation, monitoring, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance business process, and process optimization, with a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset

What You'll Do
Lead the charge on operationalising payment process for partnerships- collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure to ensure process integration, efficiency, control and governance
Establish and maintain strong governance frameworks for all partnership contract processes, develop process flows
Data integrity: Drive critical data validation and reconciliation activities for payments against source data, including rigorous testing of SQL queries for accuracy and completeness.
Provide hands-on transaction processing support as required, acting as a subject matter expert for process-related queries.
Own and manage the entire payment process for partnership-related contracts, overseeing and reviewing all financial components to ensure complete and accurate accounting.
Design workflows(process flowcharts), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation to support implementation to integrate the process with existing technology
Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with payment processes and contractual obligations, implementing robust controls to safeguard our interests.
Develop and implement robust reporting capabilities to provide actionable insights to key stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making including KPIs & metrics
Strategic optimization: Analyze current processes and develop a strategic roadmap to improve the holistic process for partnership contracts
Apply strong program management skills to drive projects for process optimization and automation
Will be responsible for setting up all the accounting requirements including setting up a standard accrual process and providing inputs to the core accounting team during month-end close.
Integrate critical financial controls (including SOX) into all payment processes and assume responsibility for testing their operating effectiveness on a timely basis to mitigate risk.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance,accounting or a related field
6+ years of progressive experience in Financial operations or accounting with a focus on process design & operational implementation, data validation and reconciliations and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
Hands on experience with SQL
Advanced degree or relevant certifications (CA,CPA,CMA,MBA Finance)
Proven experience with Finance operations or accounting as well as business process design or implementation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of improving payment processes
Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of working effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
Deep understanding of finance processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, forecasting and financial analysis
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
Hands on expertise in Advanced excel/Macros, Powerpoint and Gsuite
Experience with ORacle R12 or any other large scale ERP
Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, risk management & compliance frameworks
Experience of working with reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar is a plus
For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$120,000 per year - USD$133,500 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$133,000 per year - USD$148,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
