• As part of New Product Introductions, you will have direct access to bleeding edge Infrastructure Hardware before it ships to Meta's Data Centers * Develop in an environment that has control of an entire Infrastructure stack of tools, giving you unlimited autonomy in shaping services and dependencies * Make an impact throughout the lifecycle of Hardware, debugging issues such as Silent Data Corruption that arise at scale and not caught during vendor tests* Benefit from mentorship and guidance from Software, Systems, and Hardware engineers to help you ramp up

Required Skills:

Software Systems Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain an Infra stack of solutions that drive Provisioning, Scheduling, Monitoring, and Alerting

2. Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to identify product requirements

3. Contribute to and Influence Open Compute Project Industry standards

4. Troubleshoot and debug distributed systems and product issues

5. Implement and maintain infrastructure at scale

6. Continuously improve processes and methodologies

Minimum Qualifications:

7. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience

8. 8+ years of programming experience in a relevant programming language

9. 6+ years relevant experience building large-scale infrastructure applications or similar experience

10. Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Javascript or Hack

11. Experience leading major initiatives successfully

12. Experience leading projects and teams accordingly

13. Experience building and shipping high quality work and achieving high reliability

14. Experience improving quality through thoughtful code reviews, appropriate testing, proper rollout, monitoring, and proactive changes

15. Experience in utilizing data and analysis to explain technical problems and providing detailed feedback and solutions

16. Experience leading Hardware/Software projects in the Manufacturing and Hardware validation space

Public Compensation:

$163,000/year to $225,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
