About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Business Development. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals to achieve set goals, designing and executing sales strategies, and winning new business. This role involves close collaboration with the SVP Business Development and other leadership to align on strategy and execution. The Executive Director will also be tasked with developing the team, ensuring the accurate and timely use of CRM, and driving value in various sales opportunities. A key aspect of the position is to maintain a strong professional and industry network to accelerate market penetration and to represent the organization at business travel industry events. Candidates for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 5 years in B2B sales and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas. Experience in corporate travel sales is preferred. The role requires excellent sales, negotiation, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to manage internal and external relationships effectively. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter, with strong financial and business acumen, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a virtual team. Leadership responsibilities include overseeing direct and indirect reports, performance management, and driving employee engagement.
