Senior Project Architect - Healthcare

As a healthcare project architect at DGA, you will:

  • Manage multiple aspects of client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination to meet client expectations (program, design, schedule)
  • Manage communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, and consultants
  • Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills
  • Knowledge of how buildings are designed and constructed. Advocate to create accurate and descriptive technical documents
  • Experience with project delivery methods (e.g. traditional design-bid build; design-build; design-assist; IPD; IFOA; etc.
  • Proactive and independent approach to work and ownership of assigned tasks
  • Experience in maintaining existing client relationships and building new client relationships
  • Effective communication both orally and in writing with confidence and professionalism
You'll bring to DGA:
  • 12+ years of relevant experience as a technical interiors project architect with relevant experience in healthcare specific projects.
  • Bachelors or Masters in Architecture or related field required,
  • Licensed or registered architect preferred
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures
  • Manage the development of the project manual and specifications
  • Conduct on-site observations and document site reviews
  • Process submittals, RFIs, substitution requests, etc. during construction
  • Interface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project
  • OSHPD/HCAI experience a plus
  • Experience with Revit (mandatory), AutoCAD (mandatory), Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, 3dMax, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and MS Office Excellent prioritization at managing multiple deadlines
  • ACHA, DBIA, EDAC, LCI, WELL, LEED accreditations a plus

At the time of posting this job advertisement, the annual pay salary range for this position is between $100,000 to $140,000 commensurate with qualifications
