Senior Product Engineer

Location: Remote (Eastern Time Zone hours preferred)
Company Stage of Funding: Series B ($30M raised recently)

Salary: CA$190k - CA$225k (Higher compensation for staff level candidates up to CA$275k depending on location)
Company Description

Our client is a fast-growing AI-powered SaaS platform that serves as the command center for Creative Strategists in the marketing space. They've built an innovative platform combining creative analytics, research, and strategy that bridges the gap between performance marketers and creative teams.

With impressive growth (3x YoY), a sticky product, and recent Series B funding of $30M, they're scaling rapidly. They've doubled both their customer base and headcount in the past year, reaching just under 60 team members - but they're just getting started!

Their customers include top e-commerce and DTC brands that have used their platform to analyze over $13B in media spend. They're now expanding their AI-powered expert agent workflows and need exceptional talent to help drive this innovation forward.
What You Will Do

• Design and implement intuitive user interfaces for their expert agents platform, translating complex AI capabilities into seamless user experiences
• Collaborate closely with the design team to create polished, user-friendly interfaces that help marketers leverage AI effectively
• Work with the "Builder pod" team to integrate front-end experiences with AI-powered backend workflows using the OpenAI SDK
• Own features from conception to delivery, ensuring they meet high standards for quality and performance
• Contribute to product decisions based on user feedback and analytics to continuously improve the platform
• Optimize performance of complex interfaces handling real-time data from various marketing platforms
• Help scale their expert agent offerings from the current 6 workflows to potentially 100+ workflows

Ideal Candidate Background

• 5+ years of experience building complex, polished user-facing products with demonstrable impact, preferably at startups that have scaled beyond initial stages
• Exceptional skills in React, TypeScript, and GraphQL
• Fluency in Node.js and MongoDB
• "Lives to ship code" mentality with demonstrated ability to own product features from conception to delivery
• Clear communication skills, especially the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent product sense and ability to work effectively with designers
• Experience building or implementing AI-powered features or products

Preferred

• Experience building products from scratch (0-to-1) in resource-constrained environments
• Background as a founder or founding engineer at a previous venture
• Experience with company growth stages and adapting systems as organizations scale
• Combination of startup and larger company experience
• Curiosity about AI/ML technologies with enthusiasm to work with AI-powered products
