US Tech Consultant / Senior Consultant - Insights and Analytics

As a Consultant / Senior Consultant, you will serve as a functional expert across Blue Matter, playing a key role in designing analytical solutions for complex client needs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute project plans supporting initiatives such as technology solutions for commercial data and analytics in life sciences.
  • Utilize cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to build scalable solutions.
  • Innovate in product launch analytics, drug discovery, patient analytics, and data operations using Gen AI.
  • Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams for timely, high-quality deliverables, providing technical guidance and code reviews.
  • Query and analyze data in warehouse solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks) to generate insights.
  • Design dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Sigma for client-ready insights.
  • Investigate MDM processes to resolve issues and automate operations using Gen AI.
  • Contribute to the rollout of Blue Matter's Twine platform in client environments.
  • Address client questions, gather requirements, and deliver aligned solutions.
  • Ensure project success through collaboration and meeting deadlines using agile methodologies.
  • Support internal initiatives, focusing on Gen AI and healthcare analytics.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Expertise in data engineering, analytics, and Gen AI applications for pharma datasets.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SnowSQL).
  • Experience with data warehouse tech (Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks) and data pipeline tools (Airflow, dbt).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and services (S3, EC2, Lambda).
  • Understanding of MDM principles.
  • Familiarity with back-end (Python/Django, Java/Spring Boot) and front-end (React.js, HTML5/CSS3) technologies.
  • API development (RESTful, GraphQL) and version control (Git).
  • Experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Sigma).
  • Knowledge of US pharma datasets and healthcare concepts (coverage, payment, pricing).
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum and project management tools (JIRA, Smartsheet).
  • Ability to translate data analysis into impactful client presentations with actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degrees (PhD, MD, MBA, MS).
  • 4+ years (Consultant) or 6+ years (Senior Consultant) in data engineering/analytics, including client-facing roles.
  • Ability to integrate business and industry knowledge for creative solutions.
  • Passion for Generative AI in life sciences.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $120,000 - $190,000/year, with a generous incentive structure.
