Lead, Mentor, & Shape Our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team's Clinical Impact!
Location: San Francisco, CA (Cow Hollow Neighborhood)
Are you a seasoned clinical leader passionate about fostering growth in both clients and clinicians? Do you excel at balancing clinical excellence with operational strategy to help a practice thrive?
Practice San Francisco, a well-established and expanding child, adolescent, and family-focused therapy and wellness center in Cow Hollow, is seeking a full-time Clinic Director to help lead our collaborative and evidence-based clinical team. We believe that exceptional client care begins with exceptional clinician support, and are dedicated to fostering a clinician-centered environment where our team members feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.
The Opportunity: What's In It For You?
This is more than a management role; as Clinic Director, you will be the clinical heart of our practice and play an integral role in amplifying our reach and impact within the Bay Area community. You'll have opportunities for direct client interaction, but also will contribute directly to expanding the high-quality, evidence-based care that we provide to families in need by supporting our clinicians, fostering a strong, collaborative team, and supporting overall organizational success.
You will:
- Make a Strategic Impact: Serve as a key leader, facilitating communication across the organization and ensuring our clinical priorities are aligned and executed smoothly.
- Mentor and Develop Talent: Guide our clinical staff, from managing the Intake Coordinator to supporting pod leaders and directly supervising associate therapists. You will play a pivotal role in developing our team through performance management, supporting team culture, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Shape Clinical Excellence: Provide essential oversight for crisis services, manage client relations to ensure satisfaction, and contribute to the quality of our evidence-based care.
- Maintain Your Clinical Skills: Continue to see your own caseload of individual clients while taking on a vital leadership role.
What Success Looks Like (Key Deliverables):
- Within 30 days: You'll integrate with the leadership team through weekly meetings, establish a supportive supervisory relationship with the Intake Coordinator, and develop a comprehensive understanding of current clinical workflows, team dynamics, and client service protocols.
- Within 90 days: You'll be independently facilitating weekly team clinical consultation meetings, effectively triaging new client issues, and actively supporting supervisors with employee performance management.
- Within 6 months: You'll be successfully creating programs to improve employee satisfaction and retention, representing the practice in the community to support referral generation and marketing, and developing and executing on Performance Improvement Plans for clinical staff if needed.
