Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Engineering Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of talented software engineers in the fast-paced HealthTech industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Python, RESTful APIs, and microservices.

As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading a team of software engineers to develop, implement, and maintain our health tech services.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fixing bugs.
• Helping to maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, including PCI, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and NIST
• Utilizing Atlassian tools for project management and documentation.
• Conducting code reviews and mentoring junior team members.
• Collaborating with senior management to define software plans and strategies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in a software development role, with at least 3 years in a hands-on managerial position.
• Proficiency in Python is a must.
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience in the healthcare or healthtech industry is a bonus.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools like Jira or Confluence.
• A deep understanding of PCI and HIPAA compliance will be a plus.
• Proven experience in leading and managing the delivery of system/software development projects in a structured environment.
• Experienced with relational databases such as MySQL
