We are actively searching for Room Attendants

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of guest rooms.
• Acknowledge and greet guests in public spaces with a warm, friendly greeting.
• Report maintenance problems and complete work repair orders.
• Turn in articles left in rooms to management for "Lost and Found" following hotel procedures.
• Take corrective action where required to improve safety of work areas.
• Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
• Work collaboratively with all team members and helps create a positive and welcoming atmosphere
• Review daily inventory of rooms, arrivals and departures, including inventory of supplies needed to complete assignments
• Perform quality cleaning with excellent time management skills to ensure that rooms are ready for guest check in on time
• Comply with all hotel safety guidelines.
• Perform similar duties as requested by supervisor

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
• Previous guest service and/or housekeeping experience.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays
