About the Role

Our client, a rapidly scaling innovator in the digital commerce space, empowers creators to build, market, and monetize digital products and communities through an industry-defining, all-in-one platform. As Head of Design, reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO), you will define and drive the design strategy behind tools used by thousands of digital entrepreneurs. This executive-level role blends vision, leadership, and craft—perfect for a design leader eager to create products that drive global impact. You'll spearhead design excellence in a company transforming how creators engage with their audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design function, growing and mentoring a high-performing team.
• Shape and execute design strategy across modular web and mobile products.
• Own the end-to-end product design process, from ideation through execution.
• Build and scale the design system ensuring a cohesive, premium user experience.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing leadership.
• Drive a culture of user-centered design and creator-first thinking.
• Develop and refine processes that enable rapid scaling without sacrificing quality.

Qualifications & Skills

• 5-8+ years in digital product design, including senior or leadership roles.
• Portfolio demonstrating excellence in UX, UI, and product thinking.
• Experience with social, community, or commerce platforms preferred.
• Proven ability to ship web and mobile products in fast-paced environments.
• Mastery of modern design tools (Figma) and best practices.
• Strong communicator and storyteller with executive presence.
• Experienced mentor who elevates team performance.
• Passion for empowering creators and digital entrepreneurs.
