We are on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Backend Engineer with a strong command over Rust to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cutting-edge blockchain-based applications. You will also be instrumental in creating robust and secure APIs, and ensuring the efficient functioning of our backend operations. This position demands a high degree of technical expertise, a deep understanding of blockchain technology, and a strong commitment to quality.

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, highly scalable blockchain-based applications using Rust.
• Collaborate with our frontend team to build innovative, user-friendly interfaces.
• Develop robust and secure APIs to support backend functionalities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and developments in the field of blockchain and Rust.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and implement new features based on the evolving needs of our business.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
• Proficient in Rust with a good understanding of its syntax and features.
• Solid experience with blockchain technology and understanding of its core principles.
• Proven experience in API design and development.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a knack for complex troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
