Job Summary:

This position is responsible for implementing best practice models, patient care delivery systems, and practice standards across multiple locations. It supports investigations into patient, family, and member concerns, collaborates with physicians and healthcare providers to ensure safe patient care, allocates resources effectively, supervises equipment, supplies, and medications, and maintains a safe environment for patients and staff. The role requires maintaining clinical expertise, providing supervision, and delegating tasks within the scope of practice, along with performing clinical duties as needed.



Essential Responsibilities:

  • Recommend developmental opportunities, build collaborative relationships, solicit and act on performance feedback, mentor and coach team members, and support professional growth and organizational change. Delegate tasks appropriately and provide guidance and support.

  • Supervise and coordinate daily team or unit activities, monitor work execution, ensure policy adherence, align efforts with organizational goals, resolve issues, develop work plans, allocate resources, and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Manage hospital administrative functions supporting patient care, including facilitating meetings, managing data, supervising safety and quality activities, maintaining survey readiness, and ensuring budget targets are met through appropriate staffing and resource allocation.

  • Oversee care delivery operations in a 24/7 environment, support large programs, supervise data collection and operational activities, coordinate resources, supervise multidisciplinary teams, implement emergency preparedness plans, and ensure staff are trained and compliant with protocols.

  • Lead improvements in operations and technology by executing cross-functional projects, responding to escalations, monitoring strategic plans, and tracking performance metrics to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency.

  • Ensure safe, quality, and standardized care delivery by monitoring clinical practices, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to systems and process improvements across the continuum of care.
