NATIONWIDE SEARCH : HILLSBOROUGH, CA - A fun-loving, warm, and active family is seeking a highly organized, discreet, and experienced UHNW Family Assistant to join their team. They are looking for someone who is young at heart, playful, and will foster creativity. This role requires a proactive, flexible individual with exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities include:

  • Care of school-age children (6,8)
  • Managing schedules for food, sleep, exercise, and activities
  • Transporting children to/from school and activities
  • Assisting with childcare on weekends and when children are sick
  • Helping with homework and children's laundry
  • Occasionally traveling with the family
  • Supervising children in the pool as needed

Cooking and Light Housekeeping :

  • Grocery shopping and food prep
  • Cleaning and tidying (housekeeper 3x/week)
  • Handling trash and various other requests

Family Assistance :

  • Managing complex personal schedules including appointments, travel, and social events

Travel Arrangements :

  • Booking flights, accommodations, and ground transportation
  • Obtaining visas and travel documents

Personal Errands :

  • Shopping, gift procurement, dry cleaning, booking camps and tutors

Property Management :

  • Assisting with property maintenance and vendor interactions
  • Maintaining automobile care and scheduling services

Confidentiality :

  • Handling sensitive information with discretion

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a high-level family assistant, preferably with UHNW families
  • Energetic, engaging, and fun approach to childcare
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and relevant software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility for irregular hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
  • Valid driver's license and clean record
  • CPR certification (will be paid for)

Compensation :

  • Generous hourly rate: $45-$50/hr
  • Health stipend, 401K, and 2 weeks paid vacation
  • Paid holidays: NYD, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas

Schedule :

Flexible shifts starting with:

  • Wed-Sat (May 2025, possibly flipping during summer):
  • Thursday: 7am-8pm
  • Friday: 7am-6pm
  • Saturday: 8am-8pm

or

  • Sun-Wed (starting June 1, 2025):
  • Sunday: 8am-8pm
  • Monday: 7am-8pm
  • Tuesday: 7am-9pm

Additional schedule details for a 5:2:2:5 custody schedule are also provided.

Qualifications for this role include a college degree or equivalent experience, a passion for working with children, references, and willingness to undergo background checks and training.
