Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Head of Artificial Intelligence (AI). As the Head of AI you will be reporting into the Chief Information Officer to lead our AI strategy and execution across the organization. Your goal will be to drive the adoption and implementation of AI and machine learning technologies, to guide the development of AI-powered products and solutions. You will combine deep technical expertise, strong leadership, collaboration and keen understanding of the evolving AI landscape.
Your Day-to-day May Include
- Develop and execute on Grant Thornton's AI strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
- Collaborate with the Product organization in the development and implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives to enhance business processes and drive innovation. Lead the workstreams to implement the strategy.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI solutions, including machine learning, natural language processing, and other advanced technologies.
- Establish best practices for model development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Work closely with executive leadership, peers and business unit heads to identify high-impact AI use cases, with regular reporting and presentation to the AI steering committee.
- Evaluating AI trends, technologies, and partnerships to maintain a competitive edge and champion AI innovation. Cultivate a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making.
- Define ethical standards and governance frameworks for AI projects, ensuring responsible AI development practices, including fairness, transparency, and explainability. Ensure AI systems comply with regulatory and data privacy requirements.
- Mentor team members and foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
- Manage risks related to model drift, bias, and unintended consequences.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field.
- 15+ years of related work experience in a professional services form with a proven track record of building and deploying scalable AI solutions in enterprise environments.
- Expertise in modern AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Experience with GenAI, LLMs, and multi-modal models in a production environment.
- Experience managing interdisciplinary teams and working cross-functionally.
