SF Program Coordinator, Jewish Baby Network

Under the supervision of the Director of Jewish Baby Network, the Program Coordinator is responsible for providing services and programs to families with young children, delivering high-quality Jewish values-based social and educational experiences in partnership with local Jewish organizations.

Jewish Baby Network supports young families by providing knowledge, skills, community resources, and opportunities to integrate into the local Jewish community. The Coordinator plans and implements programs aligned with best practices in positive family development, adapting to community needs as required.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Builds relationships with local Jewish organizations to offer programs for young families in San Francisco.
  • Collaborates with the Marketing Manager to develop outreach materials and social media content for programs.
  • Implements meaningful programmatic opportunities that connect young families with each other and the wider community.
  • Works with team members to develop and deliver program content according to standards.
  • Organizes all aspects of programs, including planning, logistics, and follow-up to ensure smooth operations.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least three years of experience in Jewish education or a related field.
  • Experience facilitating groups in person and virtually, with strong networking and outreach skills.
  • Knowledge of Jewish values, traditions, holidays, and customs; familiarity with local Jewish organizations preferred.
  • Willingness to work weekends and evenings.
  • Basic song leading and circle time skills.
  • Reliable travel within the region; a valid driver's license and insurance required if operating a vehicle.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Zoom, and social media platforms.

Compensation and Schedule:

  • Hourly rate: $39 - $41.50, depending on experience.
  • Part-time, non-exempt, 15 hours per week, with flexible hours and no benefits.
