Responsibilities

As our Director of Clinic Operations with the Dignity Health Medical Group, you will help our patients receive the highest standard of care, improve patient experiences, and ensure the team delivers quality care. You will advocate for your team by bringing issues, requests, or new ideas from them to leadership.

Success In This Role Means You

  • Lead, plan, direct, monitor, and improve the performance of assigned care centers to achieve excellence in daily operations.
  • Engage staff and foster a care center culture prioritizing humankindness and patient-centric care, aligned with Dignity Health's values.
  • Be accountable for operational, financial, clinical, quality, and business development activities.
  • Manage multiple disciplines, including Pediatrics, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, and various medical and surgical specialties, either as separate departments or integrated as a service line.
  • Oversee development and improvement projects across care centers.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to meet Dignity Health Medical Foundation goals, including top quartile national performance in quality, financial success, and employer branding.
  • Maintain strong, collaborative relationships within Dignity Health and Dignity Health Medical Foundation.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of patient health and financial information.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of healthcare management experience, including leading complex teams across multiple locations, and managing provider relations.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, healthcare administration, or related field, or equivalent experience and education.
  • Strong knowledge of management principles, budgeting, accounting, billing, and healthcare financial systems.

Other Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing outpatient practices.
  • Experience in union environments.
  • Background in managed care or integrated delivery systems.
  • Master's degree in relevant fields.

Pay Range

$68.96 - $100.00/hour
