Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to manage the full-cycle accounting and financial reporting for an established real estate investment company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a stable and work/life balance job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and monthly close
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for multiple real estate entities
• Analyze general ledger activity and provide variance explanations as needed
• Maintain and reconcile cash accounts, fixed assets, and intercompany balances
• Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts in coordination with asset management
• Manage CAM reconciliations and tenant billing support
• Handle all audit and tax documentation requests and liaise with external advisors
• Ensure accounting records comply with GAAP and company policies
• Maintain documentation and support schedules for financials

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 7 plus years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and real estate accounting principles, including lease accounting and CAM
• Experience with property management software Yardi is required
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities independently
