Salary: $170,000 - $250,000 per year

Our client, a rapidly growing start up, is seeking a Software Engineering Lead to join its growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Drive the design, development, and implementation of software solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
• Design and architect software tools to assist engineers in extracting and processing data.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional software solutions.
• Continually evaluate emerging technologies and propose strategic, innovative, and cost-effective solutions that increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop and implement best practices for software engineering, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  
  

Job Details

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record in leading software development teams.
• Strong experience with machine learning integration, including designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models into software applications.
• Excellent knowledge of software development methodologies, platforms, and tools.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving a common goal.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and implement innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms, big data technologies, and data analytics is a plus.
