Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.31262)

Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. Position requires:

• Computer Science including Operating System, Distributed System, Advanced Algorithm, and Parallel programming;
• Programming in C, C++, and object-oriented technique to design and develop storage servers and related tools;
• Java programming;
• BASH, PERL, or PYTHON scripting;
• Designing and developing server tools and helper utilities for Linux-based operating systems utilizing Shell Scripting, Perl and Python;
• Performing time and cost analysis for Database queries, hardware performance using customized or open-source utilities;
• Building optimized high-performance, high-capacity and scalable software based on technical specifications;
• Designing and implementing security enhancements for distributed systems running on prem or in a Cloud environment with Linux/Windows operating system; and
• Writing design and functional specifications and providing feedback to identify and resolve issues in early development phases.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $155,605 - $158,999 per year. May be eligible for bonus and/or equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
