Base pay range

$125,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

SOHA Structural Engineers is currently hiring for multiple positions for the role of Structural Project Engineer to join our team in San Francisco.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day design, construction and coordination activities, working with the engineering and drafting staff.
• Effectively communicate with the Design Principals and Sr. Project Managers + other design team members for clear and concise project-related technical concepts and methods.
• Lead the preparation of the construction documents and other discipline's coordination.
• Ability to work on multiple projects, simultaneously.
• Assist in quality control and project time management financials.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of structural engineering design and analysis experience.
• Master's degree in civil or structural engineering is preferred; a bachelor's degree is required.
• Professional Civil Engineer license in California required: Structural Engineer license in California is preferred.
• Strong fundamentals with a technical background in analysis, design, and detailing.
• Experience with software: ETABS, SAP, SAFE, RISA, Perform 3D, Excel, Mathcad, Revit, AutoCad.
• Dedication to the profession – structural engineering is your passion – maybe you automatically look upward every time you enter a new building?
• Takes ownership of projects and tasks – we love detail-oriented positive can-do people who work efficiently providing great service to our clients.
• Integrity, dedication, open-mindedness, creative, unafraid of new challenges, strong communicator, friendly.
• This profession is one of constant learning – you must be able receive constructive criticism without taking things personally and then enact what you learn.
• Grit. Must be able to handle working on multiple projects, with deadlines where it may be necessary to occasionally work some OT. We need strong-minded folks who can handle the occasional pressure that comes with the role.
