Position Objectives

  • Provide customers with the best selection, exceptional service, and well-organized stores to offer spiritual, social, and rehabilitation programs to those in need.
  • Meet store sales and income budget expectations while managing expenses to maximize profitability.
  • Create a positive and mentoring environment for Beneficiaries (ARC rehabilitation program participants) through collaboration with program staff.
  • Implement effective Work Therapy Assignments (WTA) and keep Beneficiaries on track.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accountable for meeting sales and income budgets while managing expenses for profitability.
  • Oversee daily operations including opening/closing, POS, inventory, and donations.
  • Hire, train, and develop store staff; conduct evaluations and performance coaching.
  • Schedule staff; monitor payroll and attendance.
  • Ensure high customer and donor satisfaction; develop strategies for service improvement.
  • Manage Back Room Processing and inventory flow.
  • Supervise Beneficiaries' work therapy activities.
  • Protect store assets: cash, inventory, property, and ensure security protocols.
  • Maintain safety standards and conduct safety meetings.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • At least 3 years supervisory/managerial experience in retail (thrift experience preferred).
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office.
  • Valid driver's license, pass MVR and background checks.
  • Effective communication skills with management, staff, customers, and donors.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform repetitive motions as needed.
