Our team, Worldwide Amazon Stores Finance Automation & Standardization, is at the center of driving finance transformation for Amazon's largest business. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager Technical (PMT) to deliver internal products that improve finance processes, enhance controllership, and reduce manual effort through automation.

We seek an experienced, results-oriented, self-motivated Technical Product Manager with a strong history of solving complex problems and delivering high-quality technical products. Responsibilities include developing product strategy, defining product requirements, collaborating with global finance teams, influencing stakeholders and engineering teams, and delivering impactful products.

The ideal candidate will have strong ownership, business and product sense, and a solid understanding of financial and accounting concepts. You should thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, manage ambiguity effectively, and possess high judgment, influencing skills, analytical talent, exceptional communication, and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and drive product vision and strategy aligned with the broader financial systems vision.
• Create a prioritized product roadmap based on diverse customer needs.
• Identify and execute finance process transformation initiatives driven by product.
• Influence technical design in partnership with engineering to align technology choices with customer needs.
• Identify and track relevant product metrics to measure progress towards customer impact and organizational goals.

About The Team

Our team supports the finance organization for Amazon's largest business, aiming to significantly improve finance operations through strategic technology infusion.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
• Experience with feature delivery and product trade-offs
• Experience in engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy
• Experience managing technical products or online services
• Proven ability to advocate for critical customers and stakeholders at executive levels

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
