Salary Range: $37.22/hour - $44.48/ hour ($77,400.00 – $92,500.00 annually) *

Join our team as a Benefits Coordinator!

As the Benefits Coordinator, you'll provide day-to-day administrative support for our Firm's benefits programs, ensuring secure and accurate HR and Benefits administration.

You'll work closely with the Senior Benefits Analyst and Human Resources Generalist to deliver consistent benefits, while collaborating with the Human Resources Operations Specialist to maintain accurate records and communication materials.

Job Functions & Responsibilities

  • Analytical and Technical Support: Provides analytical and technical support in delivering all benefit programs, including group health, dental, vision, disability, worker's compensation, life insurance, and wellness.
  • First-Level Support: Offers first-level support for benefits-related inquiries from attorneys and professionals, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
  • Vendor and Third-Party Coordination: Acts as a secondary contact for plan vendors, brokers, and third-party administrators, facilitating smooth communication and issue resolution.
  • Workday HRIS Management: Ensures the accuracy of benefits enrollments in Workday, performs routine data audits, supports the annual open enrollment process, and manages benefit changes related to life events and on-boarding/off-boarding.
  • Employee Education and Communication: Assists in educating employees about benefits at key points during their lifecycle, prepares communication tools, and promotes benefits through the intranet.

Qualifications & Skill Requirements

  • A.A. degree or higher from an accredited college or university or higher required. Working towards the completion of either a college undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university and/or relevant professional certification preferred.
  • Two or more years' experience in benefits administration, preferably for a professional services organization; law firm experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated understanding of ADA, COBRA, EEO, ERISA, FMLA/CFRA, HIPAA, ACA, Social Security, Workers Compensation, applicable federal and California state codes and disability programs, and other relevant regulations.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Some working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and Workday preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and demonstrated ability to follow through on issues to drive towards resolutions.
