Full-Charge Bookkeeper / Tax Preparer

Central Marin - Hybrid role in San Rafael, CA

Compensation: Base salary $110,000-$130,000

We're on the hunt for a friendly and detail-oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper and Tax Preparer to support our wonderful clients! If you have strong multitasking skills and love communicating with people, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, deposits, and reconciliations.

- Oversee monthly and annual closings and create journal entries.

- Maintain accurate vendor information and ensure prompt disbursement processing.

- Prepare financial statements for several clients.

- Support tax preparation for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.

- Execute tasks as instructed by management.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience with QuickBooks and tax preparation software.

- Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

- Experience with Lacerte tax software is preferred.

- Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is advantageous.

- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- Team-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
