Edelman is a voice synonymous with trust, reimagining a future where the currency of communication is action. Our culture thrives on three promises: boldness is possibility, empathy is progress, and curiosity is momentum.

We are in relentless pursuit of an equitable and inspiring workplace that is respectful of all, reflects and represents the world in which we live, and fosters trust, collaboration and belonging.

Edelman has helped evolve, promote and protect some of the world's most iconic and celebrated brands. This Vice President role is an opportunity to lead communications for a high-profile fintech client that shapes how consumers and businesses navigate the modern economy.

We're looking for a seasoned communications leader with deep earned media expertise across both B2C and B2B, a sharp instinct for culturally relevant storytelling, and a proven ability to manage global, integrated, multi-channel communications campaigns. You should be an organized, self-starting operator who thrives in fast-moving environments—able to juggle multiple priorities while driving high-impact strategy, execution, and results.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the senior strategic lead across a marquee fintech account, responsible for guiding communications strategy, earned media planning, and day-to-day execution
  • Develop and lead earned media campaigns that break through across consumer, lifestyle, business, fintech, and personal finance press
  • Conceptualize creative, integrated communications programs that position the brand at the intersection of culture, lifestyle, innovation, and financial empowerment
  • Build compelling narratives that tap into news, pop culture, and consumer behavior trends to generate attention and relevance
  • Drive communications around major product launches, feature rollouts, and brand marketing campaigns across global markets
  • Partner closely with product, brand, and creative teams to ensure message alignment and maximum impact across paid, earned, owned, and social channels
  • Operate with a high level of organization and precision—managing scopes, budgets, reporting, and team delivery with excellence
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities, bringing forward solutions that strengthen client outcomes
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team; promote a collaborative, inclusive, and empowering team culture
  • Represent Edelman's full breadth of capabilities, identifying new ways to support the client's broader business goals
  • Stay immersed in cultural conversation, competitive trends, and the media landscape to fuel real-time relevance and creative storytelling

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in public relations, strategic communications, or integrated marketing, preferably within an agency setting
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing earned-led, integrated communications campaigns across both B2B and B2C
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of the fintech space, with the ability to translate complex topics into human, culturally resonant narratives
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments and leading multi-stakeholder, multi-region initiatives with clarity and control
  • Proven ability to develop strong executive communications programs and support senior leaders with confidence and discretion
  • Expertise navigating the modern media landscape, including top-tier national, business, consumer, and lifestyle media
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills—able to craft, edit, and supervise high-quality content across formats
  • Experience working within an integrated agency team (IAT) environment, collaborating across paid, owned, earned, social, and influencer marketing disciplines
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, time management, and the ability to lead multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Culturally attuned and creatively driven—plugged into news, pop culture, and digital trends with the ability to quickly act on relevant moments
  • Collaborative leadership style that empowers teams, builds trust, and drives high performance
  • Willingness to travel as needed

$95,000 - $150,000 a year

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
