Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a security focus to build and secure North's architecture. Your responsibilities include:

1. Developing security features like OIDC/OAuth flows and session management.
2. Writing secure code for handling tokens, claims, and sensitive data.
3. Implementing authentication mechanisms and data protection measures.
4. Integrating new tools to enhance security capabilities.
5. Designing secret management solutions within Kubernetes, including encryption and RBAC.
6. Communicating security best practices to stakeholders effectively.

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years in software engineering with a focus on security features.
• Extensive experience with Python in production.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes development and support.
• Experience with cloud providers like GCP, Azure, AWS, OCI.
• Deep understanding of OIDC, OAuth 2.0, JWT protocols.
• Solid grasp of security principles such as session management and MFA.
• Strong coding skills across the stack and problem-solving approach.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
