Pay: $100,000 - $115,000/year., plus bonus opportunity

ExtraMile Convenience Stores LLC is a joint venture owned by Chevron and Jacksons Food Stores. The ExtraMile Franchise is currently made up of more than 1,100 convenience stores in Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, California, Idaho, Oregon, Mississippi, Nevada, Utah, Arizona and Washington. The formation of the new Company has resulted in opportunities to expand the ExtraMile brand within the current footprint, as well as to other states - resulting in exciting new employment opportunities.

The Category Space Analyst is a hybrid role that blends responsibilities in Category Planning, JDA Space Planning, JDA Floor Planning, while supporting our non-alcoholic beverage assortment within the convenience store channel.

What will I do as Category Space Analyst/Planner?
Primary - Category Analytics, JDA Space Planning

• Optimize the use of JDA Space Planning, Category Knowledgebase, Open Access and Web Publisher applications along with related processes.
• Drive improvements, efficiencies, and expertise in JDA application usage, functionality, database management and reporting.
• Develop Assortment and Planogram review processes for the Non-Alcoholic Beverage assortment within the convenience store.
• Demonstrate strong thought leadership and ability to link strategies and objectives to develop an executional plan.

Secondary - JDA Floor Planning

• Develop Merchandising store layouts using standards, business rules, best practices and C-Store shopper insights and analytics.
• Deliver franchisee value and a competitive point of difference though best-in-class merchandising, insights, layouts, planograms, and assortment planning processes and support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

You will be a great fit if you have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in category analytics, merchandising space management, or retail analytics preferably in the convenience store channel.
• Advanced proficiency in Blue Yonder/JDA Space Planning and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas).
• Working knowledge of JDA Floor Planning, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical abilities with keen attention to detail and excellent written, verbal, and collaborative communication skills.
